Match Preview

Massive boxing action will take place in Dallas in July, as Mike Tyson will be looking to showcase all the skills that make him a former undisputed world heavyweight champion. However, the fitness edge for this bout in the U.S. could be worth the former YouTuber, as Jake Paul has competed competitively throughout much of the last few years.

Paul has picked up nine wins from ten professional bouts, with his only loss being suffered in his only fight against a boxer of any standard. That defeat by split decision against Tommy Fury was suffered in February 2023, but he has bounced back to winning ways since, beginning with a success against Nate Diaz.

Paul has rediscovered his KO power in recent fights, landing first-round victories against Andre August and Ryan Bourland in his previous two fights. The latter of those was Paul’s most recent victory, as he scored a stunning early win in Puerto Rico in early March.

Tyson presents Paul with his biggest test to date, as the former world champion was the youngest ever fighter to win the heavyweight title back in the 1980s. Iron Mike was revered for his knockout power throughout his career in the ring, registering 44 victories by KO. Tyson has remained fairly active since his retirement from professional boxing, and he was last in exhibition action when fighting out a draw against Roy Jones Jr in November 2020.

Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson Prediction

This will be a big fight for Paul, as he will come up against his biggest threat to date. Despite holding the fitness edge, there could be value in siding with Tyson, as he could be the most likely winner if maintaining any of the quality that saw him become a multiple-time world champion.
