The 2025 Ryder Cup will be staged at Bethpage Black Course, marking the second time that the event will be held in New York State. A total of 7,459 yards will be covered at the par 70 course daily, with the excitement levels building as each day passes.

Ryder Cup 2025 Teams

Both teams are determined by a mix of qualifying spots and the captain’s selections. Keegan Bradley avoided the prospect of selecting himself, with Sam Burns, Cameron Young, and Patrick Cantlay all making the cut.

For the Europeans, Luke Donald will once again captain. In doing so, he will become the first captain since Bernard Gallacher to lead the team in successive editions of the Ryder Cup. The full teams can be found below.

Team USA have won the last two editions of the Ryder Cup on home soil. That includes a dominant success in Wisconsin in 2021. However, the European team recorded one of the most historic victories in Ryder Cup history on U.S. soil back in 2012, coming back from a 10-6 deficit on the final day.

Ryder Cup 2025 Picks

One of the most exciting events in the whole of sport gets underway on Friday, and the opening day could be crucial in determining the eventual winner. The USA will need to make a faster start than they did in Italy in 2023, as the Europeans dominated the opening two days to pull away.

Doing that on American soil will be a much more challenging assignment. However, with the experience of the 2023 edition under their belt, a tense win for Team Europe could be an interesting angle.
