Before the start of the season, Giannis Antetokounmpo was one of the top favorites for the 2023-24 NBA MVP award. Two weeks into the new season, Milwaukee’s best player is outside the top five, with his MVP odds being +1100.

The reason is that he hasn’t been too impressive, especially not when it comes to scoring. His season average is 24.4 points, which is significantly lower than his average in each of the last six NBA seasons.

In the Bucks’ most recent game (vs. Detroit Pistons), the Greek Freak scored just 15 points, his worst number of the 2023-24 season. Our prediction is that he’s gonna do much better than that tonight.
