Game Preview
OKC had a tough game in Ohio. They lost 129-122, allowing almost 20 points more than their average this year. The Thunder has the No.1 defense in the league, but it couldn’t do too much against the Cavaliers’ versatile offense.
This was the Thunder’s first loss after the NBA Cup finals and the game against the Bucks. Since then, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and his crew have had 10 straight victories.
The New York Knicks are third in the East. They are coming off a win over the Toronto Raptors, 112-98, their 12th at home in 17 games. NYK is a very tough team to beat, so it’s no wonder they are up high in the NBA standings.
Right now, the Knicks are the No.7 offense in the league, averaging 117.2 points per game. Now this is something we haven’t seen too often when Tom Thibodeau leads one unit. He was known for his tough and defensive appraoch on the floor.
