Preview
New York lost their second game in a row on Sunday, dropping to 4-5 on the season. It’s been a streaky year for the Jets, who are still somewhat alive in the playoff race. They have some winnable games down the stretch, but first need to worry about taking down the Bills in Buffalo. Their defense matches up well against the Bills, and has caused issues for them in the past. They’ll lean on that and the running game.

The Bills dropped to 5-5 after a disappointing loss to the Broncos. They’ve now gone 2-4 over the last six weeks, with only home wins against the Giants and Buccaneers keeping them afloat. Buffalo is in real danger of missing the playoffs for the first time in 5 years if they don’t get back on track soon. With road games against the Eagles and Chiefs approaching, the Bills absolutely need to beat the Jets in this game.
Prediction
Buffalo has gone 1-2 against the Jets since 2022, after going 4-0 against them in the two seasons prior. They need to avoid another loss here to stay above .500, but the Jets are in a similar position. The loser of this game will fall to 3rd in the AFC East division. Ultimately, I see New York struggling on offense in this game. It’ll likely be a low-scoring matchup, but I see the Bills pulling away near the end to win and cover.

- Bills 27, Jets 16 ()
