Vikings vs. Lions Odds
Game Preview
The Vikings aren’t slowing down. They’ve once again won, this time against the Colts, 16-10. Minnesota’s defense is the league’s best, allowing just 12.3 points, with Brian Flores’ blitzes and defensive schemes working perfectly.
Kyler Murray played rationally against the Colts, throwing for 150 passing yards and one TD pass. He also ran for 39 yards. The win, though, needs to be credited to the defense.
Meanwhile, the Lions beat the Packers 20-17 amid plenty of officiating controversy, with Detroit getting some help from the officials. Lions have a very good offense, 2nd in the NFL with 30.7 points per game.
For the moment, it’s what carries this team, though; we can’t forget some defensive efforts. Despite allowing 27.5 ppg, this team leads the league in sacks committed, with 20. The pass rush is good, but the secondary is terrible, allowing the most passing yards, 291.8 per game.
Vikings vs. Lions Predictions
Lions have a chance to win here. Minnesota’s O-Line is a bit problematic, allowing 18 sacks so far. Detroit’s pass rush could disrupt the Vikings’ fragile offense, and that’s where the hosts’ chance lies.
