The Falcons ran for 228 yards in total. Despite this run first approach, receiver Drake London managed to make an impact through the air also. The sophomore caught 5 of 7 targets for 91 yards and showed glimpses of the star many believe him to be.
In the absence of benched Zach Wilson, Tim Boyle took over as quarterback for the Jets. However, the offense struggled to gain momentum, relying mostly on Boyle’s 1-yard TD pass to Garrett Wilson with 4:37 left on the clock. The Jets’ defense, on the other hand, managed to step up and keep them in the game.On first-and-10 from the Dolphins’ 27, Tagovailoa threw a short pass intended for Braxton Berrios, but Echols anticipated the play, intercepted the ball, and ran it back for a touchdown.
