The Vegas Golden Knights will be back in front of their home fans on Friday, as they look to retake the lead in the second-round series against the Edmonton Oilers. They have been pegged back on two occasions already in this series, but victories in each of the next two games will see them achieve their target of a place in the Western Conference finals.
However, they will need an immediate return to form on Friday, as they suffered a heavy defeat in Edmonton on Wednesday. The Golden Knights were made to pay after making a slow start, as they conceded three in the opening period. Their only goal in response was scored in the final period by Nicolas Roy.

However, the Oilers come into game five as the side with momentum behind them, and that is evident as they are favorites to claim victory. Edmonton was excellent in game four, as they scored three in the opening period, before netting a fourth in the second.
The goals were shared around by the Oilers on Wednesday, with Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Nick Bjugstad, Evan Bouchard, and Mattias Ekholm all scoring. Meanwhile, Stuart Skinner was excellent in the Oilers goal, as he made 25 saves from 26 shots faced.
