The Hollywood Casino 400 was first contested in 2001, with the field of drivers completing a total distance of 400.5 miles at Kansas Speedway. The first two stages both consist of 80 laps, while the final stage will see the remaining 107 laps completed. Kyle Larson once again re-established himself as the leading contender for the Drivers’ Championship last weekend after storming to success in the Bass Pro Shops Night Race. The victory saw Larson move to the top of the standings, clocking the fastest lap in the process.
Christopher Bell could only finish fifth last weekend, but despite that, he remains within striking distance of the top of the standings. There were weekends to forget for Tyler Reddick and William Byron, with both finishing outside of the top 15 places. Chase Elliott re-emerged as a leading contender after taking second behind Larson.
