Man United will be hopeful of a positive third season under Erik ten Hag this term, and they come into this season round of fixtures after making a positive start to the new season under the Dutchman last weekend. The Red Devils kicked off the new campaign at Old Trafford on Friday, with Joshua Zirkzee netting on his United debut to give the club maximum points.

The victory means that United have now recorded more victories on the opening day of the season than any other Premier League side. Zirkzee also became the 15^th Dutch player to score on his debut in the competition, and he was also the fourth Red Devil to net on his debut in the English top-flight for the club.
