The pressure had been building on Eddie Howe before the start of last weekend, but the Magpies have now picked up back-to-back wins in the Premier League, and also opened their Champions League campaign with a credible 0-0 draw in the San Siro against AC Milan.

Their recent results would give Newcastle huge confidence, and they will be chasing a third straight league win this weekend. The Magpies were excellent in their most recent win, as they picked up their biggest ever away win against Sheffield United. Newcastle managed to land an 8-0 success at Sheffield United, with eight different players finding the back of the net.

The pressure will once again be on Burnley this weekend, as they continue their search for a first league win of the season. They currently sit 19^th in the Premier League standings, with Sheffield United being the only side below them in the current standings.

Burnley suffered a fourth defeat in five Premier League outings in their most recent fixture, as the Clarets were edged out by Man United at Turf Moor. But, positives could have been taken from that display. However, there is a glaring shortcoming in the final third, as they lack the quality in front of goal.
