For the third season running, Arsenal have been forced to settle for second best in the Premier League standings. The Gunners have seen their performance levels dip at crucial periods this term, and they come into the final round of matches after securing second spot with a home win over Newcastle last Sunday.
It has been a miserable campaign for Southampton on their return to the Premier League this season. The Saints have won just twice in 37 matches, and they have allowed a league-high 84 goals. Southampton have suffered defeats in three of their last four matches.
