A Champions League finish will be the goal for Tottenham this term, but they will need to improve after making a disappointing start to the campaign at the King Power Stadium on London. Spurs could only manage a draw in the East Midlands, despite dominating the fixture against Leicester from the opening minute.

Pedro Porro opened the scoring for the North London side just before the half hour mark, but Spurs were made to pay for missing opportunities after Jamie Vardy levelled in the second period. Sean Dyche would have been hopeful of a more straightforward season this term after battling at the wrong end of the standings throughout the previous campaign. However, the Toffees were dismantled on their return to action in the top-flight, suffering a 3-0 home loss at the hands of Brighton last Saturday.

Defeat on the opening day of the season is nothing new for Everton, as they have lost on matchday one in each of the last three seasons. Defensively, they will need to improve ahead of this showdown against Spurs on Saturday, as they could be set to suffer a heavy loss for the second successive week.
