One of the most interesting matches in the final four of the CONCACAF Nations League will see an in-form Panama look to overlook the odds to reach a first final. The registered home team for this clash in Texas are the top-ranked nation on seedings based on their excellent performances in the quarterfinal stage of the competition.
Panama was in excellent form in the group stage of the competition after winning three of their four matches to finish a point clear of Trinidad and Tobago. They highlighted their dominance in the previous round of the competition after netting three times in both home and away matches against Costa Rica.

Mexico were the top-seeded nations for the quarterfinal stage, but they were well below the standards required in that stage after scraping through against Honduras. The nation needed luck to secure a place in the last four after winning on penalties after coming back from a 2-0 opening leg defeat.
Regardless, Mexico have shown excellent quality in the Nations League to this point. They reached the final of the competition in 2020, before being edged out in extra time against the USA. In the previous finals, they wrapped up third spot following a 1-0 win over Panama in the match for third.
