Match Preview
The fascinating race for the Premier League title could take another twist in the East Midlands on Tuesday. Nottingham Forest have won each of their last five matches in the top-flight, and sit just six points off the pace being set by Liverpool. Forest are the only team to have beaten Liverpool in the Premier League this term.
Arne Slot’s side still boast a comfortable advantage at the summit, and they have the added benefit of a game in hand over their rivals. However, their six-point advantage could be halved by the hosts this week. The Reds have played out draws in two of their last five league matches, while they also suffered a rare domestic defeat against Tottenham last week in the EFL Cup.

As mentioned previously, Forest recorded a 1-0 win at Anfield earlier in the season. Therefore, they are chasing a first league double over the Reds since the 1962-63 season. However, Liverpool ended a 13-game winless sequence at the City Ground last season with a 1-0 win.
Forest could equal their longest winning sequence in league action on Tuesday, with their latest seven-match winning run being set in 1079. Forest have been dominant in recent home matches, winning five of their last six. Meanwhile, they are chasing four straight home wins for the first time since January 1996.
