Tottenham’s European aspirations look brighter after a win in the Europa League on Thursday, but their domestic form still raises serious questions. Spurs come into this round after losing each of their last three matches, which leaves them just eight points clear of the relegation places. Their latest defeat was suffered on the road at Everton last Sunday.
The pressure is also increasing on Ruud van Nistelrooy, as the honeymoon period is already over for the Dutchman at the King Power Stadium. Leciester have suffered defeats in each of their last six matches, and they are now two points adrift of safety in the league standings.
