Game Preview
Sporting took a point against Porto despite leading throughout most of the game. However, some official calls have disrupted their focus, and Porto managed to level at 1-1 in the end.
Six of the last seven games Sporting played saw 2 or 3 goals – moderate efficiency. Five of them saw both teams scoring, which is normal for the Lions, whose defense is unstable.
Meanwhile, Borussia lost to Stuttgart at home, 1-2. This is a big setback for the Millionaires ahead of a very important game against Sporting. It was also the 13th consecutive event in which they have allowed at least one goal.
Borussia’s road results are pretty mediocre. They have lost six of the past ten outings, with one tie and only three triumphs. Needless to say, they have only one clean sheet during the whole stretch.
