It has been far from an assured season for the Toronto Maple Leafs to this point, as they continue to sit toward the bottom of the Atlantic Division standings. Toronto have struggled to maintain their consistency throughout the campaign, reflected over their last ten after going 5-2-3.

The Vegas Golden Knights also come into this Friday’s clash following defeats in each of their last two games. Vegas remain at the top of the Pacific Division standings, having gone 24-13-12 in the NHL this season.
No team in the Division have lost fewer games in regulation time this term, while despite defeats in their last two, Vegas have still won seven of their last ten. The Golden Knights will have limited recovery time ahead of this clash following a 4-3 loss against the Boston Bruins on Thursday evening.
