Will Scottie Scheffler Win The Masters in 2026?
Despite being the top-ranked player on the PGA Tour, it is becoming easier to make a case to oppose Scottie Scheffler at this weekend’s Masters.
The American was a machine throughout last season, going the entire calendar year without finishing worse than eighth. However, recent form is more important than anything else when considering the credentials of a potential champion at Augusta, meaning that it would be concerning that Scheffler has gone T22-T24-T12 across his last three starts.
Furthermore, his approach numbers throughout those events were among his worst in recent years. Of course, off-course family matters are more important than anything that happens on the green, meaning that the fact that Scheffler welcomed a new child has ultimately led to a downfall in his form.
However, his record at Augusta speaks for itself, having failed to finish any worse than tenth in the last four editions. Therefore, while we are against Scheffler to win The Masters this weekend, he looks like an interesting bet to finish in the top 10 at -150.
