The fourth race on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule will take place this weekend at Phoenix Raceway, as the Shriners Childrenâs 500 is staged. This race has been staged annually since 2005, and it is one of two races that are staged at Phoenix Raceway throughout the season. William Byron landed victory in the 2023 edition of this race, and he will be among the front runners to record a second straight win this weekend.

Kyle Larson will come into this round in excellent form, as the former champion is chasing a second straight win following his dominant success in the Pennzoil 400 last weekend. Larson currently sits top of the Driversâ Championship standings at this early stage, but he has never previously landed victory in this race, which would be a slight concern.
There is little to separate the top driversâ in the current standings, with Ryan Blaney having started the season in excellent form. He has finished in the top three in each of the last two races. William Byron has also been consistent since his win on the opening weekend, as he finished tenth in the Pennzoil 400 last weekend.
