The 2023 CONCACAF Nations League champions will be crowned this weekend in Las Vegas, as the United States and Canada clash in Las Vegas. The American team will have home field advantage this weekend, but they will be missing a number of key stars after an ill-tempered semi-final clash against Mexico on Thursday evening.

Canada will be competing in the Nations League final for the first time in their history, as they chase a historic success in a major international tournament. Despite crashing out at the group stage at the World Cup, there was clear evidence to suggest that this is a Canadian side that could improve. They showed more indications of that on Thursday, as they cruised to a 2-0 semi-final win over Panama.

Canada were on the front foot from the opening minutes, and deservedly went ahead inside the opening 25 through Jonathan David. They then secured their place in the Nations League final with just over 20 minutes remaining, as Alphonso Davies netted the crucial second goal in the success.
