Match Preview
Ruben Amorim will see the Europa League as Man United’s best route back into the Champions League. The Red Devils are among the leading contenders to win the competition this season, and they have hit their stride in recent rounds after winning each of their last four.
However, this could be a slightly challenging encounter against FCSB, as the hosts will require something out of this fixture to secure a top eight finish. The Romanian side have won two of their last four matches, and they have avoided defeat in all but one of their seven Europa League matches this season.

However, it would be a concern that FCSB have suffered seven successive defeats against English sides in Europe. Over that period, they have conceded 20 goals, and have scored just twice. Meanwhile, United have recorded wins in five of their last six matches against Romanian teams.
Recent form would give the home side hope. FCSB have lost just three of their previous 22 group stage home matches in the Europa League, and have avoided defeat in three already this season. However, the Red Devils have gone six without loss on the road at this stage of the competition, with that run stretching back to November 2019.
