It has been an excellent period in the season for Bournemouth, as the Cherries have moved into European contention after winning back-to-back matches and scoring nine goals in the process against Nottingham Forest and Newcastle. A victory this weekend could see the Cherries end the round in the Champions League spots.
Liverpool continue to sit pretty at the top of the Premier League standings at this stage. The Reds have won back-to-back matches in the competition, and they remain six points clear of Arsenal with a game in hand. Liverpool secured a comfortable win over Ipswich in the latest round of matches.

Bournemouth enjoyed their first Premier League showdowns against Liverpool, taking four points from as many meetings. However, since then, the Cherries have picked up just three points from the last eleven clashes. Over that period, Liverpool have recorded ten wins.
The Reds have also failed to score in just one of their last 15 matches against the Cherries. Meanwhile, they have scored at least three goals in ten of the fixtures over that period.
However, both sides come into this round in stunning form. Liverpool and Bournemouth are two of the top three sides in terms of longest unbeaten sequences at this stage of the season. But, no side in the Premier League has won more points than the Cherries since the end of November.
