Match Preview
Arne Slot’s Liverpool continue to battle on four fronts as the second half of the soccer season continues this weekend. The Reds bounced back to form with a late showing against Brentford last Saturday, netting twice in the final five minutes to re-establish their six-point advantage over Arsenal.
The pressure will be increasing on Ipswich with every passing round at this stage of the season. Kieran McKenna’s side come into this round of matches sitting in the relegation places, but a famous win over Liverpool could lift them out of the bottom three. However, they come into this weekend after losing each of their previous two.

Liverpool look incredibly hard to oppose based on the recent meetings between the sides. The Reds have scored 13 unanswered goals in their last three league matches against the Tractor Boys, and they will be looking to win four on the bounce against their rivals for the first time since 1969.
However, it could be worth noting that Ipswich have won two of their last three away matches at Anfield. But, their only defeat was suffered on the final day of the 2001-02 season when losing 5-0.
Liverpool’s advantage against promoted teams could also be too difficult to overlook. The Reds have won their last ten matches against teams playing their season in the Premier League, scoring 34 goals over that period, and conceding just seven.
