A fascinating showdown kicks off the Premier League weekend on Saturday, as Newcastle welcome Bournemouth to St. James’ Park. The Magpies have been in stunning form since the turn of the year, and Eddie Howe will have massive credit in the bank after two recent cup victories last week.
However, the Cherries are unlikely to roll over for Newcastle this weekend after enjoying their longest unbeaten sequence in Premier League history. Bournemouth have picked up three draws from their last four matches, and a creditable draw at Chelsea was played out in midweek.

Draws have been a common theme when these sides have clashed in the Premier League, with four of the last five ending in ties. However, the Cherries have gone four without a win in away matches against Newcastle since winning on their first two EPL visits.
