Nottingham Forest’s unlikely title aspirations were dented last weekend following a heavy 5-0 loss on the road against Bournemouth. However, the Tricky Trees will be expected to bounce back to form after that fifth defeat of the campaign. Forest remain third in the standings, and they are just three points adrift of second-place Arsenal.
Brighton will also be licking their wounds after a shock setback last weekend. The Seagulls couldn’t find a way through against Everton and were beaten 1-0 on home soil. That defeat ended a two-game winning sequence, but Brighton remain in the top half of the standings and are within six points of the top six.

Forest don’t have the best record against Brighton. The Tricky Trees have failed to win in their last three Premier League matches against the Seagulls, suffering two defeats over that period. Brighton were 3-2 winners in this exact fixture last term, but they have never won on successive visits to the City Ground.
