Minnesota United will come into this semi-final clash in good confidence after recording wins in two of their last three matches. One of their best performances of the campaign was put in on Saturday, as they recorded an excellent 3-1 win over Western Conference leaders, San Diego FC.
United booked their spot in the final four with a nervy victory over Chicago. Minnesota needed extra time to eventually secure the victory, with Kelvin Yeboah netting twice in the added 30 minutes.

Austin FC will be aiming to return to form this week after their two-game winning streak was ended on Saturday against FC Dallas. Despite that, the visitors this week have still recorded victories in eleven of their 29 matches this season.
Austin also endured a nervy semi-final clash at the start of July, as they needed a penalty shootout to overcome San Jose. They forced spot kicks after levelling the clash late into the extra time period.
