Event Preview
The second leg of the NASCAR Cup Series will take place on Sunday, as the Ambetter Health 400 will be staged at Atlanta Motor Speedway. This race has been staged since 1960, and it will see the field complete a total distance of 400.4 miles. A total of 260 laps will be completed by drivers, with the first 60 making up the opening stage. Meanwhile, the final two stages will both consist of 100 laps.
Four drivers are tied for the most victories in the Ambetter Health 400, with Jimmie Johnson, Bobby Labonte, Dale Earnhardt, and Richard Petty all claiming four victories. Hendrick Motorsports leads the way in terms of most team victories with ten.

It was an excellent start to the season for William Byron, as the driver landed a famous victory in the Daytona 500. Alex Bowman and Christopher Bell will also be delighted with the way that they started the campaign after finishing second and third, respectively. Chase Elliott also looked competitive in the first race of the season.
Joey Logano led for the most laps in the Daytona 500, and was the driver to start of pole. The driver landed victory in last year’s Ambetter Health 400, and he could be a solid chance to retain the top prize if driving at the same standard. Ryan Blaney and William Byron are also recent winners of the race.

It looks set to be a competitive weekend of action on track this Sunday, and cases can be made for many of the drivers. However, we will be siding with Christopher Bell to kick on following a strong first outing of the season to claim a first race win of 2024.
