In truth, the FA Cup will be a low priority competition for Leeds United this season, as the Yorkshire club has their sights set on a return to the Premier League. However, their quest for automatic promotion has been hindered in recent weeks after playing out back-to-back draws in the Championship. Still, they have been difficult to beat this term, losing just three times in 26 league outings.
Harrogate will take a break from their League Two campaign on Saturday, which would come as a relief. They have struggled in the fourth tier of English soccer throughout this season, winning just seven of their 25 matches. They come into this weekend after a rare win last Saturday, which ended a run of three defeats in four.

Leeds and Harrogate will be clashing for the first time in a competitive fixture this weekend. However, the Whites have only progressed from one of their last five ties in the competition when coming up against a side from the fourth tier.
But, Leeds do have a very positive record in cup clashes against teams from Yorkshire, winning four of their last five. Harrogate will be competing in the third round of the FA Cup for just the third time, losing against Luton in 2022. Leeds have avoided defeat in their last five home FA Cup matches since a defeat against Arsenal in 2011.
