G2 National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame Stakes Picks & Preview (5:42 PM ET)
The first of the Grade 2 races on Saratoga’s card this Friday is the National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame Stakes. Touch Of Fire will be a very solid favorite to continue his excellent campaign, while Bottas and Glavine could yet take their chance in this race instead of the G1 Saratoga Derby.
However, at the prices, Vasy could be of the most interest. The three-year-old is a son of talented miler Space Blues, and he has already impressed in the U.S. this season for Brendan Walsh.
He was within a length of Remember Mamba in the G3 Pennsylvania Stakes, and he was a striking winner of the Colonel Liam Stakes at Gulfstream Park in February. Vasy is likely to be around +1000 on Friday, and that is too big of a price to ignore.

G2 Saratoga Oaks (6:17 PM ET)
The feature at Saratoga on Friday is for fillies aged three over a distance of 1 3/16 miles on the turf, with a high-quality field set to go to post for the G2 Saratoga Oaks. With no European raiders, this could be a perfect opportunity for a U.S.-trained filly to put a marker down for the Breeders’ Cup later this year.
Fitz Right and Just Aloof give Chad Brown a strong hand, but Imaginationthelady could prove to be the value play when making Saratoga picks.
The three-year-old by Not This Time was only sixth in the G1 Belmont Oaks at the start of July, but she had excuses after not getting a clear run. Her efforts prior to that effort show her quality, which includes a battling win in the 13-runner G2 Edgewood. Every chance to resume her progress this Saturday.
