Best pick against the spread: Commanders -5.5

Second ATS pick: Cowboys -6

Best underdog ATS pick: Dolphins +7.5

Bet NFL Week 8 at BetUS

Week 8 of the NFL season brings 14 games to bet against the spread, with the Texans, Giants, Saints and 49ers all on bye. It kicks off with the Panthers at the Packers on Thursday Night Football and wraps up with the Bears visiting the Seahawks on Monday Night Football.

Our top play of the week is Washington laying 5.5 points at home against an Eagles team without Jalen Hurts. Three of our 14 picks back the underdog, and our favorite of those is Miami getting 7.5 at home against New England.

NFL Week 8 Picks Against the Spread: Every Game

Panthers vs Packers ATS Pick: Packers -4.5

Thursday, Oct 29 · 8:15 PM ET · Lambeau Field · Thursday Night Football

Carolina comes in off a 43-13 blowout loss to the Buccaneers and ranks 27th in points allowed this season. Green Bay has the firepower to take advantage at Lambeau, and we like the Packers to win by a touchdown or more under the lights.

  • ATS pick: Packers -4.5

Falcons vs Buccaneers ATS Pick: Buccaneers -2.5

Sunday, Nov 1 · 1:00 PM ET · Raymond James Stadium

Two run-first offenses meet two of the league’s best run defenses in a tight NFC South game. With Baker Mayfield back under center, home field gives Tampa Bay the edge, and at -2.5, a field goal win is enough to cover.

  • ATS pick: Buccaneers -2.5

Ravens vs Bills ATS Pick: Bills -3

Sunday, Nov 1 · 1:00 PM ET · Highmark Stadium

Lamar Jackson is expected to start, but he may not be at 100%, and Buffalo returns home after back-to-back road wins. At home against a banged-up Baltimore team, we like the Bills to win by more than a field goal. A Buffalo win by exactly three is a push.

  • ATS pick: Bills -3

Browns vs Steelers ATS Pick: Steelers -3.5

Sunday, Nov 1 · 1:00 PM ET · Acrisure Stadium

First place in the AFC North is on the line, with both teams at 5-2. Pittsburgh has won three straight and allows just 19.7 points per game, while Cleveland has won close games despite a negative point differential. The Steelers’ defense gives them a real chance of winning by more than a field goal.

  • ATS pick: Steelers -3.5

Colts vs Jaguars ATS Pick: Jaguars -7.5

Sunday, Nov 1 · 1:00 PM ET · EverBank Stadium

Jacksonville comes in off a bye with the NFL’s best run defense, which is bad news for a Colts offense built around Jonathan Taylor. Indianapolis has lost three straight, and if the Jaguars take Taylor away early, they can pull clear.

  • ATS pick: Jaguars -7.5

Raiders vs Jets ATS Pick: Jets -1.5

Sunday, Nov 1 · 1:00 PM ET · MetLife Stadium

The Raiders have lost four straight and allowed 30 or more points in every one of them. In a near pick’em between two struggling teams, home field tips it to the Jets, who only need to win by two.

  • ATS pick: Jets -1.5

Vikings vs Lions ATS Pick: Lions -3.5

Sunday, Nov 1 · 1:00 PM ET · Ford Field

Minnesota is 6-0 with the NFL’s best defense, but the offense hasn’t looked convincing in recent weeks. Detroit’s pass rush should get after Kyler Murray, and with Jared Goff and the offense playing well at home, we like the Lions to hand the Vikings their first loss.

  • ATS pick: Lions -3.5

Titans vs Bengals ATS Pick: Bengals -10.5

Sunday, Nov 1 · 1:00 PM ET · Paycor Stadium

Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati offense caught fire in the second half against Baltimore in Week 7, while Tennessee looks to have cooled off again after picking up its first win against the Colts in Week 6. The Titans can hang around with teams, but we see the Bengals starting fast and never looking back.

  • ATS pick: Bengals -10.5

Cardinals vs Cowboys ATS Pick: Cowboys -6

Sunday, Nov 1 · 1:00 PM ET · AT&T Stadium

Arizona has the worst defense in the NFL, allowing 29.7 points per game and touchdowns on more than 70% of red-zone trips. Dallas is coming off a 38-21 win in Philadelphia, and Javonte Williams should run all over this defense.

  • ATS pick: Cowboys -6

Chargers vs Rams ATS Pick: Rams -6.5

Sunday, Nov 1 · 4:05 PM ET · SoFi Stadium

The Chargers are 0-6 and score just 15 points per game, the fewest in the league. The line has dropped from -10 to -6.5 on the Rams’ injury news, which means getting the league’s most productive offense at a much better number.

  • ATS pick: Rams -6.5

Chiefs vs Broncos ATS Pick: Broncos +1.5

Sunday, Nov 1 · 4:25 PM ET · Empower Field at Mile High

Denver is at home, has won three straight, and has already beaten the Seattle team that just held Kansas City to three points. In what should be a low-scoring divisional game, a home underdog getting points has the edge.

  • ATS pick: Broncos +1.5

Patriots vs Dolphins ATS Pick: Dolphins +7.5

Sunday, Nov 1 · 4:25 PM ET · Hard Rock Stadium

New England is 1-3 on the road, and its red-zone touchdown rate of 53% ranks near the bottom of the league. That’s a problem when laying more than a touchdown against a Miami team that just ran for 156 yards against the Jets.

  • ATS pick: Dolphins +7.5

Eagles vs Commanders ATS Pick: Commanders -5.5

Sunday, Nov 1 · 8:20 PM ET · Northwest Stadium · Sunday Night Football

Philadelphia is without Jalen Hurts for the season and scores just 18.1 points per game. Washington comes in rested off a bye, and the market has moved our way, with the line climbing from -4.5. Our best pick against the spread this week.

  • ATS pick: Commanders -5.5

Bears vs Seahawks ATS Pick: Bears +3

Monday, Nov 2 · 8:15 PM ET · Lumen Field · Monday Night Football

Chicago has won four of its last five, leads the NFL in rushing, and has the league’s third-best run defense to slow down Seattle’s ground game. The Bears also come in with extra rest after playing on Thursday. Note that a Seattle win by exactly three is a push.

  • ATS pick: Bears +3
